Simple but effective chest exercise you can do at home

The chest is one of the most important body parts, not only because it houses two of the most important body organs the heart and the lungs but also because it is one of the few parts that people meet first and can be the basis of judging your personality and overall health. Since most people have busy schedules to go to the gym regularly or would rather save than pay the hefty gym fees, there are home exercises to do at home that will prove beneficial in burning fat deposits and building muscles.

Home chest exercises are a perfect combination of cardio, aerobic and strength exercises. The first exercise, the step up, can be done using a sturdy object or the stair step. You can step up the step with one foot then slowly raise the other foot to join the first foot before slowly lowering the first foot. Do this in rotating pattern and you will feel your heart beating faster and breathing more intense. Jumping shacks is another great exercise that you can do by putting your feet together and hands straight on your side. Raise your hands up to your side and above your head while moving the opposite leg to the side as well.

Pushups are great chest exercises at home if done right and long enough. Although there are many variations to pushups, basic push-ups involve lying on the ground facing down then slowly lifting your body using your hands while keeping the legs and the rest of the body straight. There are many other chest exercises that you should consider doing to improve your chest muscles including dumbbells pushovers, chin-ups and cable flyes. Weight lifting does wonders to your chest muscles strength as well as appearance but are not as easy to do at home as these other ones because they require more caution and special weight equipment.
